Themed days for each market

We're excited to announce that 2015 brings back the Artisan Foodworks Market and themed days! When we hosted the market in 2013, our fun themes were popular with both shoppers and vendors. Check out some of what we have planned for this year.

Sunday, May 17

Donut Day

Donuts for Dede

Our most popular day from 2013 is back! Chef Alexa pays homage to her Great Uncle Sap the Donut King by frying up the sweet treats during the Artisan Foodworks Market. As a part of Donut Day, we'll be offering Donuts for Dede (Artisan Foodworks Market Committee member and 240sweet Artisan Foodworks Office Manager. Read about her, here). Everyone who makes a monetary donation to Dede's Relay for Life campaign will receive a free donut. Vendors are encouraged incorporate donut fun in their booths.

Sunday, June 21

Petapalooza

Bring your pets to strut their stuff in Sunday best. Don't have one? Kitty, bunny, and other rescue groups will be on hand to help you find unconditional love. Petapalooza is all about the animal members of our family. Vendors are encouraged to incorporate pet-themed options at their booths--everything to all-natural treats to the best produce for your animal friend.

Sunday, July 19

Puff Fest

Get toasted with free s'mores during 240sweet's Second Annual Puff Fest. Enjoy a day full of marshmallow fun. Santa will even be back giving out marshmallows to good boys and girls as part of the 7th Christmas in July campaign. Vendors are encouraged to celebrate the marshmallow. NOTE: The Artisan Foodworks Market will be open from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on this date, only.

Sunday, August 16

Tomato a Go Go

Homegrown Hoosier tomatoes are one of the highlights of summer. Select from over 40 different varieties of tomatoes available at the Artisan Foodworks Market, all grown in Indiana. Chef Alexa will be offering free BLTs to visitors who spend $10 or more at the market on this day. Indulge in fresh mozzarella and local produce to make the best part of summer even more delicious. Vendors are encouraged to have tomato-themed booths and specials.

Sunday, September 20

Souper Sunday

As we enter fall, nothing tastes better than a soup made with local produce on those first nights with a little chill. Chef Alexa will be making and serving her award-winning Popcorn and Lobster Soup for people to try. Vendors are encouraged to offer recipes and samples of soup made with their wares and/or produce.
