Salsa Me Krazy
Brenda Gay's salsa is a family recipe developed by her mother, Rita. With an abundance of homegrown tomatoes, Rita created a salsa which became popular with family and friends. Soon people began to ask for it on a regular basis so Brenda decided it was time to share the love of her mother's salsa with the rest of the world. In November 2012,
Salsa Me Krazy was launched. The product name lends itself from all of the crazy stories they have heard from their customers. From people hiding the salsa from other family members to eating a while jar by themselves in one sitting. With its sweet and savory flavor it is a salsa that is quite addicting.
Brenda lives in Greenwood. When she's not busy shuttling her two kids around to their activities she is working on her salsa business. Her husband, Dan, helps out at various festivals and you will find her daughter Lauren working with her at the Artisan Foodworks Thursday Evening Market. Brenda's favorite vendor at the Market is
Cupcakes by Kara!
